Our goal is to provide financial support for innovative educational programs that will enhance academic excellence and award scholarships to qualified students. You may have an idea or special area that you feel warrants attentions. The foundation welcomes your input. The foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees who is dedicated to enriching the educational excellence of our schools. The trustees operate independently from the Otsego Board of Education, and are responsible for determining guidelines for project funding, reviewing grant proposals, selecting targeted projects and dispensing funds. The Foundation has awarded more than $140,000 in Excellence in Education grants to faculty members and more than $136,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors.
